Job summary

Group 1001 is seeking a hands-on Design/Technical Manager to lead 3 Web/UI roles and ensure quality across marketing web properties for all member companies. You will personally contribute in Figma/Webflow, conduct reviews, and prototype solutions to de-risk initiatives.

You’ll own product scope for the portfolio, ensure accessibility and regulatory compliance, and guide architectural health and security posture while mentoring designers in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of web design and frontend build experience with progression.
• Financial services or insurance sector knowledge preferred.
• Expert in Figma; proficient in Webflow for client-maintainable sites.
• Deep experience with design systems governance and reuse.
• Proficient in Jira, Agile sprint planning, and story readiness.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on design and Webflow build on critical-path web properties.
• Own portfolio applications as Product Owner including security and accessibility.
• Maintain architectural health, backups, and patching posture.
• Lead design reviews and mentor 3+ designers; grow seniors.
• Own SEO/GEO strategy and BI data feeding.
• Enforce design standards and branding across groups.
