Job summary
Group 1001 is seeking a Lead Applications Developer to manage a team delivering full-stack software for multiple member companies in the financial services space. You will code on critical-path work, review others’ work, and prototype new solutions to de-risk delivery.
You’ll own portfolio applications, ensuring security, WCAG accessibility, and regulatory compliance across life and annuity, health, and P&C products, while guiding architectural health and CI/CD excellence.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
- Experience in financial services or insurance domain is preferred.
- Expert-level TypeScript and Java for enterprise applications.
- Strong front-end framework experience (Angular, React, or Next.js).
- Production Node.js/Express on web hosting and server-side execution.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on coding on critical-path work; conduct code reviews and prototype solutions.
- Own portfolio applications as Product Owner, focusing on security, accessibility, and regulatory compliance.
