Job summary

The Training Manager at The Service Companies shapes the new hire experience and retention across our operating departments. This hands-on role plans, delivers, and reinforces onboarding that helps team members succeed from day one with on-floor coaching and practical training.

You will partner with operations and people leaders, monitor training effectiveness, maintain records, and ensure OSHA and client SOP compliance while promoting The TSC Way on every property.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of training, L&D, hospitality leadership, or operations management experience.
• Hands-on training with large hourly workforces and retention focus.
• Proven leadership and program management ability.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methods.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead new hire orientation and onboarding for hourly and leadership staff.
• Deliver hands-on, in-the-field training across operational departments.
• Plan training schedules, materials, and resources in advance.
• Conduct check-ins with new hires to reinforce skills on the floor.
• Provide retraining or coaching until proficiency is reached.
• Collaborate with operations to identify gaps and adjust training.
• Monitor training effectiveness through observations and metrics.
• Maintain training records and certifications per standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs, OSHA, and client SOPs.
• Coach inspectors and management on leadership and engagement.
• Report training completion and retention outcomes to senior leadership.
• Promote The TSC Way and a positive client property culture.
