Job summary

Sysco Kansas City is seeking a Training Manager to optimize onboarding and ongoing training across Transportation and Warehouse. You will partner with department leads, HR, and safety leaders to design effective onboarding and continuous training programs, and to drive performance and engagement through structured feedback and coaching.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and experience with onboarding processes and OSHA/DOT guidance.

Qualifications

• Requires 4-year degree in Training & Development or commensurate experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in training-related role.
• Experience building onboarding training for individual contributors.
• Experience coaching and fostering a feedback culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage onboarding training programs with a focus on performance.
• Select and guide On-The-Job Trainers in Transportation and Warehouse.
• Coordinate 90-day onboarding and follow-up training for new drivers and associates.
• Track training metrics and report progress to site leadership.
• Lead discussions with site leadership on onboarding and training for high-volume roles.
