Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc. is seeking a Laborer Apprentice 4 (Solar) to assemble, install, and maintain PV systems across varied terrains and structures. The role involves reading plans, laying out support structures, and coordinating with multiple crafts on site.

Applicants should have 1.5–2 years of laborer experience or 3001–4000 hours, own the required tools, and pass pre-employment screenings. Safety is a core priority on every project.

Qualifications

• 1.5–2 years’ experience or 3001–4000 hours in laborer or helper roles.
• Must understand and follow directions and read plans/specifications.
• Must own all necessary Solar tools per the project list.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, or maintain PV systems on varied terrains.
• Lay out and install solar module support structures and racks.
• Install structural, mechanical, rack systems, and PV panels.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Participate in safety programs and report hazards to supervision.
• Coordinate work with co-workers and other crafts on site.
• Learn plans and perform layout and measurements under supervision.
