Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in Houston is offering a Superintendent Intern/Co-op internship. You will gain hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of a project, partnered with experienced field leaders and Project Managers.

This program emphasizes safety, drawing review, scheduling, and daily site documentation. Ideal candidates are enrolled in Civil/Construction Mgmt programs, possess a valid driver's license, and demonstrate strong communication and work ethic.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred but not required.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Field Operations exposure from site mobilization through project completion.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and promote safety culture.
• Assist with scheduling, coordination of subcontractors, and progress tracking.
• Observe quality inspections and learn ARCO standards.
• Attend project meetings and review construction drawings and shop drawings.
• Document daily site activities and support reporting.
• Learn from superintendents and field teams to coordinate office and field operations.
