Job summary
Inherent Technologies in San Jose, CA is seeking a hands-on ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM & ITAM Solution Architect to lead design and governance across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM. The role requires deep expertise in CMDB, Discovery, and CSDM, with strong leadership to drive HAM/SAM programs and architecture decisions that deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
- 8–12 years of total IT experience with minimum 8 years hands-on ServiceNow.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Strong hands-on expertise in CMDB design, Discovery, Service Mapping, CSDM, HAM, and SAM.
- Experience in ITSM and ITOM; capable of CI relationships modeling.
- Ability to lead architecture discussions and mentor delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and govern the ServiceNow ecosystem across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM.
- Define scalable architecture, best practices, and deployment standards.
- Lead CMDB, CSDM, HAM, and SAM initiatives and governance.
- Configure Discovery, Service Mapping, and IRE; ensure data quality and lifecycle management.
- Develop integrations with external systems and ensure security/compliance.
- Mentor developers, admins, and project teams; drive go-live activities.
