Job summary

RD Rubber Technology Corp. in California is seeking a press operator to support our rubber molding operations.

You will operate production presses, perform secondary operations, inspect parts, and maintain clean work areas according to SOPs and safety rules. Responsibilities include meeting daily production targets, assisting with pre-press tasks, documenting production and inspection activities, and cooperating with leads to ensure quality and on-time delivery of components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Machine operator experience.
• Press operator experience.
• ITAR compliance knowledge or awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operates production machines to produce parts per daily work orders.
• Performs secondary operations including hand trimming, cleaning, packaging, and post-curing per Training and Procedures.
• Meets production quantity and quality targets per work order.
• Collaborates with a lead person on pre-press tasks and machine operation.
• Inspects parts to ensure quality and reports discrepancies promptly.
• Fills out production paperwork and inspection procedures daily.
• Detects and reports machine malfunctions promptly to the lead person.
• Packages and transports produced parts to the next operation.
• Maintains machines and work area in a clean, safe state at all times.
• Follows company safety rules and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
