Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of related work experience or equivalent.
• Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• CDL Class A must be attained within six months of placement.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain medium-duty equipment including dump trucks, skid steers and backhoes.
• Perform roadway maintenance tasks such as clearing ditches, repairing shoulders, potholes, and paving.
• Direct traffic when performing road repairs to protect workers and the public.
• Respond to emergencies and work outside normal hours when on call.
