Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Lodge and Operations Manager to run a busy ranch property in Texas. The role will oversee lodging, dining, retail and the event center, ensuring seamless guest experiences and safe operation of activities.

You will hire, train and schedule staff, run daily briefings, and keep the Managing Partner informed on occupancy, budget and upcoming needs throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Five years or more running a guest ranch, lodge, resort, retreat, camp or hunting operation.
• Hands-on on-property leadership and visible presence with the crew.
• Ability to hire, train and schedule seasonal staff while maintaining standards.
• Emphasis on guest safety and high service standards across activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lodging operations for main lodge, cabins, cottages and wagons.
• Coordinate day-to-day departments: lodging, housekeeping, guest services, restaurant and general store, events, activities, maintenance and grounds.
• Walk the property daily to identify issues and fix them before guests notice.
• Lead daily briefings, ensure smooth event turnover, and manage vendor relationships.
