Seeking an experienced, hands-on Hotel Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the property’s lodgings, staff, and guest experience. Reporting to the Managing partner, the Hotel Manager is the on-site operational leader for the Main Lodge, cabins, cottages, and riverfront wagons — present in the day-to-day of guest arrivals, staff scheduling, and service delivery to ensure every guest enjoys the exceptional, rustic-luxury experience our property is known for.
Key Responsibilities

- Directly supervise and schedule front-of-house, housekeeping, and guest services staff day to day, stepping in hands-on wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly
- Respond to and resolve guest concerns and service issues in real time, ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience across every stay
- Recruit, hire, and train lodging and guest services staff, and run daily briefings to keep the team aligned on arrivals, departures, and events
- Oversee daily front desk and reservations operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, and coordinate day to day with the restaurant and general store
- Coordinate day-to-day logistics with the events team so guest rooms and shared spaces are properly prepared and turned over around weddings, retreats, and group events
- Manage day-to-day vendor and contractor visits supporting housekeeping, maintenance, and guest amenities, and safeguard the property’s buildings and equipment
- Support safe guest participation in on-site activities day to day — including safari tours, ATV and bike trails, horseback riding, skeet shooting, archery, and water areas — coordinating with activity staff as needed
- Monitor daily occupancy and service standards, and keep the Managing Partner informed on staffing, budget, and property needs
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and hospitality licensing requirements across day-to-day lodging and dining operations
