Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a versatile Utility Person to support plant operations across housekeeping, maintenance, production, and equipment operation. You'll monitor conditions, grease and lubricate machinery, and help keep the plant clean and organized.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and hands-on contribution to efficient performance. New hires attend orientation and safety training at our Dallas Corporate Office.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1 year equipment/plant operation or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read gauges and interpret readings accurately.
• Willingness to learn quickly and follow directions.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work irregular shifts including days, nights, weekends.
• Strong safety awareness and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production, quality control, loading and shipping.
• Plant cleanup and lubrication duties.
• Help with preventative and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Cross-train across plant areas as needed.
• Operate plant mobile equipment (Bobcat, Kubota, RTV).
• Perform daily pre/post-shift inspections and maintain logs.
