Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Utility Person to join our team. You will perform cross-functional duties in plant maintenance, production, and equipment operation, including greasing, lubrication, and routine upkeep. Shift hours are 6:00 am to 4:00 pm with weekend work as needed, supporting a busy materials plant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in building materials industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on mobile and plant equipment.
• Conduct daily pre/post-shift inspections and maintain maintenance log.
• Keep areas clean and maintain roadways and parking areas around the plant.
• Operate plant equipment such as skid steers, loaders, excavators, and haul trucks safely.
• Assist in training co-workers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
