Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Network Security Architect to design and build the security architecture across on‑premises and cloud environments, collaborating with engineering through implementation.

This senior role requires deep experience in firewall, segmentation, Zero Trust, and cloud network design across Azure, AWS, and GCP, plus hands‑on delivery and strong communication with partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/InfoSec or related field.
• 7+ years information security architecture experience.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).
• Hands-on network security tech: firewall, segmentation, access control.
• Experience with cloud security: Azure, AWS, GCP.

Responsibilities

• Designs network security architecture from the ground up.
• Leads end-to-end migrations and cutovers with engineering.
• Collaborates with engineers to implement changes in real time.
• Reviews architecture and remediates gaps in legacy configs.
• Documents architecture in conceptual and physical form.
• Assesses work and hours for security components.
• Acts as technical advisor to IT and business partners.
• Stays current on emerging security technologies.
