Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Network Security Architect to design and implement a comprehensive security architecture for on-premises and cloud environments.

You will collaborate closely with engineering during build and cutover, ensuring the architecture is implemented as designed. The role requires extensive hands-on firewall and network security experience, cloud security expertise, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 7+ years in an Information Security Architect role.
• Experience with security frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on firewall and network security experience.
• Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Designs network security from ground up including firewall and segmentation.
• Lead end-to-end migrations and cutovers with engineering.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve design gaps during build.
• Review and remediate legacy security configurations.
• Document architecture with configurations and diagrams.
• Serve as technical advisor on network security questions.
• Stay current on threats and emerging technologies.
