Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years in an Information Security Architect role.
• 7+ years in regulatory compliance and information security frameworks (NIST 800/CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT).
• Advanced knowledge of network technologies and security controls.
• Experience with Windows and Linux systems.
• Experience with APIs and cloud deployment tools.
• One or more Palo Alto certifications (e.g., PCNSA, PCNSE, PCCSE, PCSAE).
• DevSecOps experience and security architecture in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Designs network security architecture from the ground up including firewall policy, segmentation, and cloud architecture in Azure.
• Leads end-to-end migrations: assess, design target state, build configuration, and manage cutover.
• Collaborates with engineering through build and implementation, aligning architecture with real-world constraints.
• Reviews existing security architecture, identifies gaps, and remediates technical debt.
• Provides expert guidance on security architecture to engineering, IT, and business partners.
• Documents architecture with configurations and diagrams, not just high-level visuals.
