Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Network Security Architect to design and implement enterprise-wide security, spanning firewall policy, segmentation, and cloud network architecture.

You will work closely with engineering through build and cutover efforts to ensure architecture is realized in practice. The role requires extensive experience in network security, cloud platforms, and certifications, with collaboration across IT, business partners, and RSA/ServiceNow workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Seven or more years of information security architect experience.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and information security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• DevSecOps experience and architectural duties.

Responsibilities

• Designs network security architecture from ground up including firewall policy and segmentation.
• Leads end-to-end migrations from assessment to cutover.
• Collaborates with engineering during build and implementation.
• Reviews and remediates legacy configurations.
• Assesses scope, estimates hours for security architecture components.
• Acts as technical advisor to engineering, IT, and business partners.
• Documents architecture in detailed diagrams and configurations.
• Handles RSA tickets in ServiceNow.
• Keeps current with emerging security technologies.
