Job summary

Amazon Goodyear is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) to combine electronic, mechanical, computer, and automation engineering skills on the job. You will work with high-performance manufacturing systems, analyze and troubleshoot to maintain efficiency, and ensure safety policies are followed.

You will be paired with journey workers at facilities with high automation and robotics, follow technical documents, and be mentored by senior technicians to grow in the role.

Qualifications

• PC software experience including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of mathematics.
• Experience measurement reading and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using job plans and manuals.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and related components.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely.
