Job summary

United Launch Alliance is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a 10‑week summer program. You will perform analyses on flight hardware, assist in design and development, and gain exposure to systems engineering and production operations.

Successful candidates are pursuing a STEM bachelor’s degree, will be enrolled in Fall 2027, and can work full‑time during Summer 2027. Travel to ULA locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Plan to be enrolled in Fall Semester 2027.
• Able to work full-time for 10 weeks Summer 2027.
• Familiar with engineering tools: NX, NASTRAN, SolidWorks, Mathcad, CREO.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis on existing flight hardware and assist in design and development of future hardware.
• Conduct data analysis and support analysis methodology improvement projects and tool design.
• Travel to suppliers or other ULA locations as needed.
• Shadow experienced engineers and contribute to larger projects.
