Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with basic math, weights and measures.
• Minimum 2 years professional grocery retail leadership in Meat department preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Meat & Seafood team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation guidelines and company recipes.
• Unload deliveries and operate meat & seafood equipment.
