Job summary

The DH Pace Company is seeking a Material Coordinator to join our team in Olathe, KS. This hands-on role focuses on material management, inventory control, and coordinating freight, with significant time spent on the warehouse floor and travel to support locations.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Travel ~25% is required to support different sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time to support different locations.
• Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment, with 50% or more of the workday spent on the warehouse floor.

Responsibilities

• Support the materials program for your location.
• Assist in coordinating local freight programs.
• Assist in coordinating local scrap and trash programs.
• Assist in coordinating the local hot list program.
• Assist in coordinating inventory through the entire procurement lifecycle.
• Perform cycle counts and audits for the location.
• Ensure the warehouse is set up and maintained appropriately, including inventory locations and safety requirements.
• Work with Operations and Purchasing to increase inventory turns on stock material.
• Work with Operations and Estimating to reduce slow-moving items.
• Assist in coordinating material replenishment processes for the warehouse and satellite warehouses.
• Spend significant time on the warehouse floor supporting inventory management and daily operations.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
