Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 5 years related experience.
• Effective communication with customers and colleagues.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Experience with warehousing, material management, or mechanical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support all aspects of the materials program for assigned markets.
• Develop and implement procurement sourcing and supplier contracts.
• Manage inventory through the procurement lifecycle including cycle counts.
• Oversee parts, shop, and warehouse operations; maintain stock levels and efficiency.
• Lead contract negotiations and vendor relationships for cost and quality.
• Develop management staff through coaching and training.
• Determine staffing levels and enforce hiring policies.
• Foster positive working climate and resolve employee concerns.
• Review performance against goals and advise promotions or changes.
• Oversee material replenishment for warehouses.
• Work additional hours as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
