Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon seeks an experienced Operations Technical Trainer to develop and deliver technical training across Spokane manufacturing operations. You will ensure safety, quality, and operational excellence by building robust training programs and materials.

You will collaborate with Operations, Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams to identify needs, create development plans, and measure training effectiveness, while maintaining compliance and records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience in technical training.
• Experience developing and delivering training in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience creating work instructions, qualification programs, and competency materials.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and workforce development practices.
• Experience partnering with Operations, Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams.
• Familiarity with LMS, training records, and qualification tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led, hands-on, and on-the-job training for onboarding, qualifications, and career development.
• Partner with leaders to identify training needs and develop employee development plans.
• Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, and competency assessments.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and identify skill gaps via assessments and observations.
• Coach employees on safety, quality, and best practices; support workforce development and cross-training.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and standard work documentation.
• Maintain training records and qualification documentation to ensure compliance.
