You will mentor engineers, coordinate capital projects, and partner with Operations, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain to deliver safe, reliable, and cost‑effective manufacturing.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience with engineers/maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment and reliability principles.
• Experience delivering capital projects on time and under budget.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical docs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with hourly and senior leadership.
• Lean / continuous improvement mindset; experience with structured problem solving.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical direction to Manufacturing Engineers and maintenance teams.
• Set priorities based on safety, production needs, quality, cost, and objectives.
• Propose technologies to improve products and processes and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Lead or support capital projects from concept through implementation and commissioning.
• Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, and vendor management.
• Ensure safety, quality, and maintenance requirements are met for new equipment.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff and cross‑train team members.
• Collaborate with Operations to address bottlenecks and improve capacity.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean methods and data‑driven analysis.
• Ensure documentation and standards are maintained for modifications.
