Job summary

Ludlow-Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support sheet metal fabrication, process improvement, and production in a fast-paced facility. You will work on NPI, CAD/CAM, ERP, and tooling, collaborating with operators to improve quality and throughput.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in manufacturing engineering, proficiency with SolidWorks, sheet metal design, and offline CAM programming. This is an onsite role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T
• Experience with SolidWorks and sheet metal design
• Knowledge of CNC laser cutting and press brake forming
• Experience with ERP systems for routings and process information
• Hands‑on experience with CAM programming for metal fabrication equipment

Responsibilities

• Support new product introduction from engineering review through first-piece production and release.
• Create/modify drawings, fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids in SolidWorks.
• Maintain offline CAM programs for CNC laser cutting and press brake forming.
• Develop press brake forming processes including bend sequencing and tooling.
• Select manufacturing methods, tooling, and equipment for parts.
• Troubleshoot CAD/CAM/laser/forming issues on the production floor.
• Collaborate with operators to improve quality, setup efficiency, repeatability, and throughput.
• Review customer drawings for manufacturability and release readiness.
• Develop and maintain production routings and process information in ERP.
• Design or modify fixtures, gauges, and manufacturing aids as required.
