Daimler Truck North America is offering a Summer Internship in Manufacturing Engineering in High Point, NC. Interns will learn by doing real-world projects across production, quality and design teams, supporting product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to tooling, time studies, and process optimization to ensure readiness for full-scale production. May/June start.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program or recently graduated within 1 year of start date.
• Major should be Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrates problem solving and willingness to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for efficient production.
• Analyze production processes, conduct time studies, and support product launches.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity and ergonomics.
• Assist with tooling and equipment improvements and prototype builds.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure processes are SOP-ready.
