Job summary

LV Property Management is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead two South Bend apartment communities. This true player/coach role splits time between performing maintenance work, supporting technicians, coordinating vendors, and partnering with the office team to keep properties operating at their best.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience, strong leadership skills, and knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience required.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the maintenance team.
• Perform day-to-day maintenance and service requests as needed.
• Coordinate and manage vendor relationships and scheduling.
• Partner with the Property Manager and office team to prioritize property needs.
• Oversee apartment turns and ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance issues.
• Manage maintenance-related projects and capital improvements.
• Ensure work orders are completed accurately and timely.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Promote a safe, efficient, and resident-focused work environment.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.
