Job summary

Supplied Talent in Las Animas, CO invites a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our skilled nursing facility safe, functional, and welcoming. You will own the physical plant end to end, from daily repairs to safety compliance and supervising the maintenance team.

This is a working supervisor role; you’ll move between office, interior spaces, and outdoor areas, manage schedules for housekeeping and laundry, and ensure accurate records while directly supporting residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across core building trades is required.
• SNF maintenance experience greatly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and follow through independently.
• Clear written and verbal communication with staff, residents, families, and outside professionals.
• Patience and tact when working around elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all building systems in safe, working order per guidelines.
• Perform repairs across trades: plumbing, lighting, fixtures, flooring, drywall.
• Create and manage schedules for housekeeping and laundry personnel.
• Order and track maintenance supplies.
• Ensure safety practices and equipment operation.
• Transport residents to appointments and assist scheduling.
• Contribute to department policies and participate in committees.
• Participate in in-service training and quality assurance programs.
