Carecoremontgomery is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to keep our 99-bed skilled nursing facility safe, comfortable, and running smoothly for residents and staff.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with general maintenance experience who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and being part of a team making a difference every day.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• General knowledge of building maintenance and repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete assigned repairs.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working in a long‑term care/skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day‑to‑day maintenance and upkeep of the facility and grounds.
• Perform general repairs and maintenance as directed.
• Complete routine preventive maintenance throughout the building.
• Monitor and maintain facility systems, including water temperatures, call lights, generators, fire alarms, and other logs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance and repair needs.
• Identify supply, equipment, and repair needs and communicate them to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Help maintain a safe, clean environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Assist with additional maintenance projects and responsibilities throughout the facility.

Requirements

• Ability to follow safety procedures and written and verbal instructions
