Job summary

Veritas Skilled Nursing Management is seeking a hands-on Maintenance role at our Pueblo, CO facility. Responsibilities include general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repairs to keep the building safe and functional.

You will also assist with resident transportation and coordinate with nursing staff to meet schedules and needs. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Ability to safely operate facility vehicles.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the facility.
• Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repairs.
• Maintain the building and grounds to provide a safe, clean environment.
• Replace lighting, clean windows, and complete routine maintenance tasks.
• Respond to maintenance requests and assist with facility projects.
• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations using facility vehicles.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding transportation schedules and resident needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
