Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor II to join Conifer Village, a 198-unit affordable community in Baldwinsville, NY. You will supervise maintenance staff, ensure safety, and maintain brand standards across the property.

The role blends hands-on maintenance with leadership, preventive planning, and vendor management. Salary ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule and on-call rotation for emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of apartment, property, facilities, or building maintenance experience.
• 1-3 years of supervisory, leadership, or team management experience.
• A valid driver's license in good standing.
• CAMT certification preferred or required, as applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and work order management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance team members, ensuring high-quality work and resident service.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop staff while promoting safe work practices.
• Oversee service requests, work orders, staff schedules, and vendor activities.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs, inspections, and curb appeal initiatives.
• Perform and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general building repairs.
• Review inspection findings, obtain bids, and assist with capital maintenance projects.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
