Job summary

Pennrose Management Company in the Atlanta area seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams across multiple properties, ensuring safety, quality, and timely repairs.

You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems, manage the make-ready process for vacant units, coordinate vendors, and uphold PMC standards while complying with OSHA and company SOPs.

This role requires travel between properties, hands-on leadership, and a commitment to resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
• Three years overseeing maintenance teams or buildings.
• Valid driver’s license and travel between properties.
• EPA 608 Universal certification required within six months.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily admin tasks and coordinate with PMs and teams.
• Ensure service requests and repairs are completed promptly.
• Lead maintenance staff in diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Maintain painted, clean, safe common areas and prepare vacants for leasing.
• Oversee make-ready process and punch lists to turn units within five business days.
• Complete monthly Preventive Maintenance per policy.
• Prepare for inspections from owners, regulators, and local authorities.
• Inspect grounds and buildings for a clean environment; remove snow as needed.
• Assist in budgeting for repair, maintenance, and capital expenses.
• Adhere to SOPs and OSHA regulations; participate in safety training.
