Job summary

Rental Asset Management LLC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Lead to coordinate daily maintenance at a multifamily community, provide technical guidance to the team, and ensure safety, reliability, and resident satisfaction.

You will lead by example, manage work orders and preventive maintenance, oversee unit turns, coordinate vendors, and personally perform repairs as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of multifamily maintenance with lead or supervisory experience.
• Strong hands-on skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to coordinate daily maintenance activities and guide technicians.
• Experience with maintenance contracts and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with maintenance software like Yardi or HappyCo.
• Fluent English and Spanish (B2) with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute daily maintenance operations and work orders.
• Lead by example, performing tasks alongside the team.
• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and unit turns.
• Coordinate vendor quotes, scheduling, and contractor work.
• Maintain safety, OSHA/EPA compliance, and documentation.
• Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics.
