Red Dot Buildings in Athens, Texas, seeks an IT Support & Infrastructure Specialist to maintain and improve network, systems, hardware, and security. This is a full-time, onsite role Monday–Friday, focused on day-to-day technical support and infrastructure optimization.

You will work across the organization to keep technology reliable, secure, and ready to support a growing business, with responsibilities spanning onboarding, equipment, and cybersecurity initiatives.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; technical education preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in IT support, infrastructure, networking, or related environment.
• Certifications like CompTIA A+ are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide responsive, high-quality technical support for computers, mobile devices, printers, software, network connectivity, and other technology.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hardware, operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, security groups, and technology access through Active Directory and related systems.
• Support employee onboarding, transfers, and offboarding, including equipment and system access.
• Assist with network and infrastructure administration, including switches, wireless, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, servers, virtual machines, backups, and storage.
• Install, terminate, test, label, and troubleshoot low-voltage network cabling, including fiber optic cable.
• Support VoIP, email, and other communication systems.
• Maintain technology inventory, asset records, system documentation, and procedures.
• Manage help desk tickets and work orders, prioritizing issues and providing timely communication and follow-through.
• Perform system updates, patching, preventative maintenance, equipment replacements, and technology health checks.
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, including endpoint protection, access controls, account security, and security alerts.
• Partner with IT, vendors, contractors, and internal teams on technology projects, upgrades, deployments, and problem resolution.
• Follow all company technology, cybersecurity, safety, and quality standards.
• Provide occasional after-hours or weekend support when needed.
