Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (technical training preferred).
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in industrial electrical work.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to use hand tools and electrical testing equipment (or willingness to be trained).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, climbing, standing for long periods).
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across the facility.
• Support troubleshooting of electrical issues involving motors, control panels, conveyors, and automated systems.
• Learn to work with three‑phase power systems, motor controls, and PLC‑controlled equipment.
• Assist with running conduit, pulling wire, and wiring electrical panels.
• Read and interpret basic electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Follow all lockout/tagout procedures and safety policies at all times.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with housekeeping standards.
• Assist in identifying root causes of equipment failures and reporting findings to senior electricians.
• Respond to production issues and support repairs in a timely manner.
