Job summary

Interfor is seeking an Industrial Electrician to keep our Eatonton mill running safely and efficiently. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and PLC-driven equipment to minimize downtime and support production goals.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance or a related technical degree, with strong safety awareness and the ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience or a related technical degree.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and lock-out procedures.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems, controls, and automation equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and improve mill electrical systems.
• Read schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PLCs, AC drives, motors, and controls.
• Diagnose issues to minimize downtime.
• Follow lock-out safety procedures.
• Plan and manage work with minimal supervision.
• Submit work orders detailing work performed, parts used, and time.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
