Continental Steel & Tube Co. in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations, sales coordination, payroll, budgeting, and staff management.

This hands-on leadership role works directly with the owner to ensure the business runs profitably and efficiently. You will oversee office operations, cost control, vendor relations, and process improvements while communicating updates to the owner and steering the company toward growth and operational

Qualifications

• College degree in business or related field is required.
• Several years of management experience with supervision of staff.
• Experience overseeing office operations and delivering business results.
• Experience with budgets, financial reports, and cost control.
• Payroll processing and HR administration experience.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure priorities are met on time.
• Lead, train, and develop staff; manage payroll, attendance, and HR administration.
• Coordinate supply chain communications among customers, suppliers, and warehouses.
• Approve purchase orders and invoices within authority and resolve discrepancies.
• Track projects and marketing activities; ensure work is completed on schedule.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain communication with the owner and present timely updates.
