Job summary

Pioneer Metal Finishing is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead a division with full accountability for safety, people, customers, growth, and financial results. This role requires a strategic leader who can translate vision into action, build a high‑performing team, and drive sustainable profitability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive leadership in labor-intensive manufacturing.
• Experience leading Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proven ability to translate goals into action and manage through change.
• Financial acumen with prior profit-and-loss accountability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Operations or related field; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Planning: develop divisional strategy, budgets, and long-term growth plans; allocate labor and resources.
• Operational Excellence & Results: lead managers to improve safety, delivery, quality, cost, and compliance.
• Customer & Growth Focus: meet customer requirements, visit key customers, drive organic growth.
• People Leadership & Development: coach and mentor employees, build capability and succession.
• Continuous Improvement & Best Practices: champion Lean thinking and drive improvements across functions.
• Financial & Business Performance: own divisional financials, identify risks and opportunities, ensure profitability.
• Perform other related leadership responsibilities as business needs evolve.
