Job summary

Deciml is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager for its Digital Assets pillar, focusing on risk, onboarding, and compliance engineering. The team builds fraud decisioning, payments risk, transaction monitoring, and privacy systems, with a strong emphasis on reliability and scalability.

You will lead engineers through hiring, coaching, feedback, prioritisation, and performance accountability, while staying technically engaged to guide architecture and debug issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct engineering people management.
• Experience leading teams building large-scale production software.
• Exposure to risk, fraud prevention, payments, or privacy.
• Hands-on technical depth with architectural contributions.
• Strong product judgment balancing controls with user friction.
• Clear communication of system users and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Guide delivery of risk, onboarding, and compliance engineering systems.
• Lead engineers through hiring, coaching, and performance.
• Guide architecture and design while debugging issues.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Product, Security teams.
• Balance controls with user friction and workflows.
• Own production services reliability and scalability.
• Use AI-assisted development with validated code and tests.
