Job summary

Deciml is building customer identity and access infrastructure for its platform and product teams. The role provides frontline technical leadership while staying close enough to the systems to raise engineering quality through architecture decisions, code review, debugging, incidents, migrations, and prototypes when needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years directly managing software engineers, including hiring and performance management.
• Production experience in authentication, authorization, identity, or related security-sensitive platforms.
• Recent architecture or design ownership with hands-on coding and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for identity and access capabilities.
• Manage, coach, and grow a team of engineers while maintaining high engineering quality.
• Lead technical designs, review critical code paths, debug production issues, and participate in incident response.
• Guide major migrations, cutovers, rollback planning, and architectural changes.
• Collaborate with Security, Product, Risk, Onboarding, and other engineering teams that integrate with identity.
• Translate competing requests into a clear sequence of work and communicate tradeoffs.
