Job summary

Paired, a portfolio of four consumer brands, seeks a hands-on Email & SMS Marketing Manager to own execution across its DTC Shopify brands. You will personally build flows, campaigns, and templates inside Klaviyo and manage SMS campaigns end-to-end, including growth and compliance.

You will report to the Head of Retention and work remotely within US hours, driving lifecycle marketing, personalization, and optimization across email and SMS channels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct, hands-on Klaviyo experience.
• Personally build and manage email and SMS campaigns and flows.
• Hands-on SMS marketing using Klaviyo SMS, Attentive, Postscript, or similar.
• Direct ownership of SMS campaigns, flows, growth and compliance.
• Direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce experience, preferably with Shopify.
• Experience with subscription-based e-commerce brands.
• Proven ability to improve email and SMS performance with measurable results.
• Strong lifecycle marketing, segmentation, retention, and subscription marketing.
• Excellent copywriting, especially short-form marketing copy.
• Strong analytical skills and independent reporting ability.
• Knowledge of deliverability, list management, and inbox placement.
• Fluent written English; detail-oriented; fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience using AI tools (Claude/ChatGPT) in marketing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Email Marketing Execution: build, test, and maintain lifecycle flows across brands in Klaviyo.
• Campaigns: manage segmentation, copy, QA, sending and reporting.
• SMS Marketing Ownership: build SMS flows and campaigns across platforms.
• Subscription Retention: optimize lifecycle comms for subscription customers.
• Performance Analysis: weekly review of revenue, open rates, clicks, conversions, churn.
• QA & Creative: ensure links, personalization, rendering, discounts, and automation logic.
• AI & Process Optimization: leverage AI to improve copy, segmentation, reporting and workflow efficiency.
• Brand voice: maintain each brand’s identity while unifying campaigns.
