Nashville Public Radio is seeking an experienced DTC Email & SMS Marketing Associate to own our retention program from strategy through execution. You’ll build and optimize lifecycle campaigns in Klaviyo and SMS flows for a high-volume ecommerce brand, collaborating with creative, growth, and ecommerce teams to drive revenue and improve customer LTV.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing email and SMS marketing for DTC ecommerce brands.
• Proven track record growing email and SMS revenue.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience with segmentation and personalization.
• Excellent copywriting instincts for conversion-focused marketing.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire email and SMS marketing channels from strategy through execution.
• Build, launch, and optimize Klaviyo email and SMS flows from scratch.
• Create and manage daily/weekly promotional email and SMS campaigns.
• Develop lifecycle marketing strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
• Build and optimize: Welcome Series, Browse Abandonment, Cart Abandonment, Checkout Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Cross-Sell & Upsell, Review Requests, Winback, Sunset/Re-engagement, VIP & Loyalty Flows.
• Create customer segmentation strategies.
• Improve deliverability, inbox placement, and SMS performance.
• Perform ongoing A/B testing across subject lines, offers, copy, design, timing, segmentation, and SMS messaging.
• Analyze campaign performance and continuously improve revenue, CTR, CVR, LTV, and subscriber engagement.
• Coordinate product launches, seasonal promotions, and major sales events.
• Work with designers and copywriters to produce high-converting email and SMS creatives.
• Manage the email and SMS marketing calendars.
• Own email and SMS revenue and lifecycle marketing KPIs.
