Leoforce in Boston, MA is hiring a Manufacturing Assembly Technician to build and test electromechanical products. You will assemble complex components, perform troubleshooting, and implement repairs while maintaining strict quality standards.

The role requires 1–2+ years of assembly experience, soldering and PCB rework skills, and the ability to read technical docs. Strong initiative and independent work are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical diploma preferred.
  • 1–2+ years in electronics/mechanical/electromechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read technical docs, schematics and testing procedures.
  • Experience with soldering, cable work, SMT and through-hole PCB rework.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and use of hand tools.
  • Experience documenting testing procedures and processes; basic spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, electronic, and electromechanical products.
  • Test, troubleshoot, debug, repair, and rework assemblies.
  • Use soldering equipment, multimeters, and hand tools.
  • Perform PCB rework including SMT and through-hole repairs.
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and resolve manufacturing problems.
  • Inspect and test assemblies to ensure quality and performance.
  • Read and follow work instructions, schematics, and testing procedures.
  • Document testing, repairs, and manufacturing activities.
  • Assist with improving work instructions and processes.
  • Use spreadsheets to track production and testing information.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams; work independently.
  • Manage day-to-day responsibilities with quality and productivity.
