The role focuses on building and reworking assemblies from released designs, allowing engineers to concentrate on new product work.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience reading engineering drawings, and a background assembling complex hardware or electromechanical systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on mechanical/electromechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Experience assembling complex hardware from released designs.
• Strong attention to detail and build quality.
• Ability to work independently while following documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly of mechanical and electromechanical hardware.
• Build assemblies according to released drawings and documentation.
• Perform rework and modifications per approved drawings.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, BOMs, and technical docs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and assembly equipment.
• Verify assemblies meet drawing and workmanship requirements.
• Identify discrepancies or missing components and communicate them.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve build questions.
• Maintain organized parts, tools, and work areas.
• Follow safety, quality, and assembly procedures.
• Support engineering build schedules and changing priorities.
