Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Industrial Assembly Technician to assemble, test, and inspect electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies for industrial and R&D applications. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, production, or R&D environments.
• Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling procedures.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications for daily production tasks.
• Current or previous IPC certifications listed in qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cables, harnesses, panels, enclosures and small sub-assemblies.
• Read and interpret work instructions, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Install components per assembly docs and specs.
• Solder wires, PCBA, and electronic components.
• Measure, cut, strip and route wires on panels/enclosures.
• Use hand tools and power tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.
• Operate measuring instruments (multimeters, calipers, rulers) to verify conformity.
• Maintain clean, safe, 5S-compliant workspace and follow safety policies.
• Complete build records and participate in quality inspections.
