Job summary

Krispy Kreme is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor in Concord, NC to lead a hands-on team in doughnut production, ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met, and maintain accurate records. You will drive continuous improvements while coaching staff to follow GMP, food safety, and company policies.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a leadership role, strong communication skills, and solid MS Office proficiency to manage schedules, reports, and documentation in a fast-paced plant

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a leadership role.
• Familiarity with food processing or food packaging processes.
• Knowledge of food safety/GMP’s or advanced sanitation preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, ensuring compliance with Food Safety, OSHA, GMP and company policies.
• Train, develop, and schedule new employees per plant.
• Oversee plant areas and ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
• Maintain production records (tablet or paper).
• Ensure quality control guidelines are followed.
• Assign employees to positions to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor attendance and performance; support Production/General Manager.
• Implement continuous improvement to reduce waste and downtime.
• Monitor budget and allocate resources appropriately.
• Prepare production reports for upper management.
• Report issues impacting safety, productivity, costs, quality.
• Treat employees with dignity and promote fairness.
• Pursue skills training as requested by management.
