Job summary

Astreya is seeking an entry-level Installation Technician in Las Vegas to perform rack-and-stack installation of servers, switches, and storage hardware in data centers. You will follow rack elevation drawings and ensure proper labeling and asset tagging.

You will conduct passive site surveys, assist with cable termination (CAT6/A), cabling dressing, and assembly of racks and aisle containment, while maintaining OSHA safety standards and delivering concise written updates to shifts.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years experience in data center installation.
• Proficient in copper (CAT6/A) termination.
• Follows rack elevation drawings with precision.

Responsibilities

• Perform rack-and-stack installations of servers, switches and storage.
• Conduct passive site surveys along a predefined path.
• Assemble racks and aisle containment; inspect cooling/power units; ensure OSHA compliance.
• Provide clear, written progress updates and document equipment details (serials, port locations).
