Job summary

Unisys is seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer to provide hands-on support for enterprise data center servers and AI infrastructure. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining server hardware in data center, field service, or customer environments.

Prior AI experience is not required; strong enterprise server expertise is essential. The candidate will handle installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation of service activities, with on-call rotations and

Qualifications

Direct, hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing enterprise server hardware.
Experience troubleshooting server hardware, BIOS/firmware, and associated components.
Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and travel to customer sites.
Excellent communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise servers.
Diagnose and resolve server hardware failures to minimize downtime.
Perform hardware installation, replacement, and repair including CPUs, memory, storage, and GPUs.
Rack-and-stack, cabling, and server deployment activities.
Document service activities and communicate status to customers.
