Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for Data 360 (Data Cloud) to implement real-time data solutions inside enterprise customer environments. You will configure ingestion, modeling, identity, insights, activation, and operations, ensuring secure, scalable data flows and agent integration.

The role requires hands-on data engineering experience, proficiency in SQL and at least one of Apex/Java/Python/JS, and familiarity with enterprise data platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software/data engineering or technical implementation experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud) or similar enterprise data platform.
• Proficient in SQL and multi-table query design, optimization, and validation checks.
• Fluent in at least one enterprise delivery language: Apex, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy Data 360 configurations and pipelines in customer sandboxes and production environments.
• Develop data ingestion, harmonization, and identity resolution across sources.
• Design and implement RAG, vector databases, and knowledge bases for AI grounding.
• Ensure secure data access, permissions, and governance across Salesforce ecosystem.
• Collaborate with architects, deployment strategists, and customer teams to deliver scalable solutions.
