The Morgantown Area Partnership is seeking a hands-on Accountant to manage daily accounting functions in a small-business environment in West Virginia. You will maintain financial records, handle AP/AR, process invoices, and ensure accurate reconciliations using QuickBooks Online.

Ideal candidates have experience with multi-state sales tax, month-end close, and payroll support. Independence, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Formación

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related roles.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
• Solid knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations, and general accounting practices.
• Experience with multi-state sales tax is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle AP and AR processes, including invoices and payments.
• Process deposits, reconciliations, and month-end close tasks.
• Maintain QuickBooks Online and support payroll as needed.
• Ensure sales tax compliance across states and filing/payment tasks.
• Collaborate with management on financial information.
